Beginning yoga – for those with little or no yoga experience.
Classes cover basic asanas (postures), proper breathing, and
relaxation techniques. Classes are taught sequentially.
Intermediate/Advanced yoga – for students with yoga experience
who wish to deepen their yoga practice, learn more asanas with
more difficult variations, more challenging pranayama (breathing)
techniques, and deepen their understanding of yoga philosophy
and psychology. Classes typically finish with a guided meditation.
Everyone Welcome – these classes are appropriate for anyone
who wants to try yoga or to continue their study. Experienced
students are instructed how to deepen their postures, beginners
are led carefully through the basics. As with all classes, everyone
works to his or her comfortable capacity.
Props and Protocol
- Classes start promptly. Please arrive early.

are good mats for sale in many stores.
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing, bare feet. Layer your

- Grab a strap or an unused necktie. This will help with some
postures (and you can tie it around your mat.)

class is okay.
- Please refrain from wearing perfume, chewing gum, and
please turn off your cell phone before class begins.
